The Director and the Communication officer of The National Transformational Leadership Institute had a successful trip to attend a training on Developing Feminist Leaders for a just and secure Africa held from 24^th – 30^th   March 2019 at Stoni Athi Resort in Nairobi, Kenya.

This training was convened by Akina Mama wa Afrika, a Pan African Feminist organization with support from UN Women Regional Office for Eastern and Southern Africa. It was attended by thirteen countries from the region; Botswana, Burundi, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe

The meeting had 25 young Africa women leaders from NGOs, Government agencies and activists for women’s rights for a five days’ workshop in the African Women’s Leadership Institute.
